Lost and Found

If you lose something, do not panic. As soon as you notice you have lost something, immediately report it to the police station/police box or at the train station information desk, etc. The sooner you report the lost item, the easier it will be to find.

When you report the lost item, please clearly state the following:

  • The date, time and place that you dropped or lost the item.
  • A description of what you dropped or lost.

Losing something in a taxi

If you have received a receipt then please contact the taxi company by calling the telephone number shown on the receipt.

When doing so, things will go more smoothly if you give the time and date of your ride and the car number (車番) printed on the receipt.

  • I do not know the name of the taxi company of the taxi I took.
  • I got in touch but the deadline for keeping lost items at the facility had passed.

In such cases, please notify the police at the nearest police station or police box.
